The Book Club will meet on Friday, March 26, at 6:00 pm at Timbers Restaurant.

The author of this book also wrote The Kite Runner. Two women, one older, one younger, are married to a cruel shoemaker. Surrounded by the vicious fighting between political factions in Afghanistan, the women, in their own ways, prove sisterhood is powerful.
