Communion, Baptisms, New Members, and Special Blessings

Communion is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of the month during each of our worship services.  Everyone is invited to participate, but it's each person's choice.  To quote our pastor, Charles Tillapaugh, "You need not be a member of this church or a member of any church.  We only ask that you seek to live in peace with one another and to serve your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  All are welcome" to share in communion at Wright's Chapel.  Communion is celebrated using bread and grape juice (non-alcoholic) to represent the body and blood of Christ.

In the life of the church, there's nothing more special than baptism during a Sunday service.  These moments have the congregation's complete attention.  It's a photo opportunity that's unsurpassed.

We celebrate with much joy the confirmation of new members to our church family.  The commitment between new members and the congregation to share the Methodist journey of faith is so important to the work of the church.

Special blessings occur in our worship service to shepherd those who give of themselves.  Perhaps it's a group headed off on a mission trip to help disaster victims or our men and women called to active military service.
