Community Group Outreach

Sometimes our outreach ministry is best served by supporting community groups with successful programs.

Alcohol and Drug Dependency

For those of our neighbors who have suffered from addiction, and are recovering, Wright's Chapel offers use of its facilities to Alcoholics Anonymous and to Narcotics Anonymous to hold weekly meetings.  These faith based programs embody the ministry of those who understand our needs and support a spiritual path of healing to restore order to our lives.  To learn more about these organizations, click on our Links  to other web sites.

Support for Parenting

In our ministry to support the nurturing of children, Wright's Chapel offers its space to Circle of Parents, which meets weekly.  This self-help support group is open to anyone in a parenting role.  There is no cost to participate.  It's a chance for couples, single parents, and other caregivers to openly discuss the challenges of raising children.  We can learn from each other's successes and exchange ideas, information, and resources.  To find out more about Circle of Parents, click on our Links to other web sites.

Learning English

English as a Second Language is taught twice a week at Wright's Chapel.  We often fail to consider the barriers that language can impose on our everyday activities.  For those who want to improve their fluency in English, this is a great opportunity.

Open hearts, Open minds, Open doors at Wright's Chapel is an invitation to people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds to worship in the Christian faith with us.

Scouting

Scouting is another children's ministry to instill values and service to others.  It introduces other adults who can be role models and mentors.  The Cub Scouts meet once a week at Wright's Chapel.  Who knows?  Participation could ignite the desire to pursue the journey and adventures to reach the highest achievement in scouting, being an Eagle Scout.
