Other Outreach Ministries

Here's a sampling of other outreach ministries where the discipleship of our congregation has sought to make a difference.  Wright's Chapel has been a resource for foodbank distribution.  The Christmas in April program has successfully helped with home repairs.  Volunteers have brought their faith into the jails to instill hope and be role models for prisoners.  And visits to Heart Havens or nursing homes can make all the difference in someone's day.  To learn more about Heart Havens, which started as a ministry of The United Methodist Church, click on our Links to other web sites.

Special outreach, which often occurs in private, ministers to those in crisis, comforts those dealing with illness and loss, or listens to those in need and offers words of encouragement and prayer.  Sometimes the smallest acts of love and kindness can help someone be strengthened.
